When it comes to Broad band internet for Pakistanis the first and obvious choice is PTCL broad band DSL. But some how PTCL is again failed to provide good customer service and support to its customers specially for new customers. Now if you want new PTCL land-line connection its not that easy that you call their help line an order you PTCL land-line connection. You have to first apply for new demand draft from PTCL which verifies new customer with their id card that you have not used PTCL land-line before and if yes then you have no dues left to pay. It takes about 4 to 5 business days to verify. Now a days with 5 business days in a week its mean that your first week will be used to verify if you want new land-line connection. After verifying demand draft you qualify for new land-line connection and it takes about 2 to 3 business days. Then it time to apply for DSL package. Surprisingly it also takes 3 to 4 business days which means that it will take around 14 to 15 days for new DSL connection from PTCL which of course is very irritating in this modern era.
Now if you are new DSL consumer from Pakistan and you want your connection instantly the best option is perhaps new wi-tribe connection. The process is very simple and quick. All you have to do is to visit their customer services franchise and select the suitable package for your self. Unfortunately they can’t provide unlimited DSL package for now but they provide much easy and affordable packages compare to wateen. They offer you three kind of DSl services they provide for Pakistan.
1. SLider Package
First one is slider package which is simple wireless device which means you can take your device any where is Pakistan with you but you have to connect your computer to this device with wires. You can buy slider package as low as Rs.1150.
2. SLider Plus Package
Second one is slider plus which also includes wi-fi device which means you can also connect you computer with DSL device wireless. You can buy slider plus package as low as Rs.2150.
3. USB Dongle
Third one is USE dongle which is based on new compression technology with freedom and no power required. You can buy wi-tribe USb Dongle as low as Rs.3500.
